Got this today, finally out of customs and delivered to my door. Is it what I thought it would be?, not exactly, but it's a very clever gimmick and the quality is top notch. Happy I ordered.

I design and direct magic & illusion for stage plays and the creative team on my next production thought this would be perfect for what we're doing. I received the gimmick in the mail and I think it's brilliant; the scissors will also last you a lifetime. The method is also not quite what I thought it would be in the most delightful way possible. If I had a use for these outside of the play I'm working on, I'd purchase a pair for myself!

Mine came yesterday, and dang--this is awesome!! What an ingenious gimmick, and super sturdy--this will survive a hydrogen bomb. You can do the trick during the nuclear winter when your other props have vaporized. And the various scenarios that David Stone gives on the tutorial are both amazing and hilarious!
And you also get a nice pair of scissors that work perfectly; one less trip to Office Depot! I give it ONE WHOLE THUMB UP!! (Only because the other one got chopped off during practice...) This is a seriously good gag effect, folks, with lots of creative and fun possibilities! Seth |
