Over the years I've presented many different types of reading but, by far, my favourite has been tree reading. It is different, unusual, intriguing and, most importantly, engaging. People are genuinely keen to draw a tree to find out what it reveals about them. Interpreting their tree too is a delight and so often a positive, enlightening experience.

In this release. Stunninger provides a card with instructions printed on it and space for the spectator to draw a tree. On the back of the card is a helpful guide which helps interpret their drawing and which you can easily elaborate on. It is so thoughtfully designed it is almost like  a 'Reading by numbers.'

The supplied card is credit card sized so it can easily slip into a wallet and, by using a dry erase pen, can be used over and over again. It is a perfect EDC. If, for some reason you do not like dry erase pens, a helpful alternative is suggested.

In the video instructions Stunninger not only gives a brief history of tree reading and mentions other useful sources, but covers in great detail how to interpret a tree drawing and then gives three sample readings. This in itself is a masterclass in tree readings. In addition, he also supplies a mnemonic and, by remembering and using this, you will never be stuck again. Even if you do not have the card with you, with pen and paper and remembering the mnemonic, you can easily give a tree reading no matter where you are.

I personally love giving tree readings and am genuinely excited by this release. If wanting something useful, something a little bit different and/or are interested in readings, this is a brilliant buy. 

As I wrote at the beginning, this release is absolutely fantastic and delight to use.

Stunninger's tutorial for using his wallet card is well worth picking up his Tree Reading Wallet Card.

I’ve been using tree readings for years, have read much of the material out there about it, and yet I still found Stunninger’s wallet card and tutorial helpful and valuable. What he’s done is create an easy to follow, step-by-step process for a tree reading that takes away the worry about memorizing process, which frees you up to focus on connecting with your participant.


Also, for anyone who falls into the camp of “I’m new to readings and not sure how to actually do one for a real person”, this is a great way to get started, and since the wallet card guides you through the reading, you don’t feel like you’re “out on a limb” with no guidance (pun intended)!
