Compare the reset of Pocket Holy Wood (or standard Holy Wood) to the instant reset of Solid Condom and I think you’ll find the extra weight of Solid Condom very much worth it. Now add the fact that SC can be instantly repeated (which makes it look much more like magic than a puzzle) and SC also comes with a custom belt holder and I think you have the winner. SC is the best version of this type of effect that has ever been created.

I’m sure you are right, but unfortunately it is still a box of condoms (or cookies) which definitely won’t fit a lot of people’s performance styles.

A box of matches fits your performance style but a box of cookies doesn’t?

If that's the case then it’s a simple matter to make the box be whatever you want it to be. Use your imagination.

Make it a simple, plain white box and after you impale it ask your specs if they believe there is anything in the box.
You can go in a million different directions. Make it your own. You don’t have to do it exactly as it is right off the shelf.
Get creative, that’s the fun part.

SC is a mechanical marvel, and the reset is ingenious.
I just hope Magic Diamond can make a smaller, lighter version for the gigging magician...

A box of matches doesn’t fit either….I have the original card box sized version. You do make a good point about customisation though. It’s definitely worth considering.

IMO, the pocket sized version eliminates one of my favorite parts of the deck version, which is showing an apparently full deck of cards in the box and then removing a card and passing it thru.

I thought that adding a Paul Harris vanishing deck gimmick was a brilliant idea.

If the darn block just didn’t bruise my hands attempting to reset it!

The pocket version comes with both the matchbox and a mini card box. It also comes with a couple of mini cards and gimmicks in the PH style.

So you can choose to either do the match version or the card version. But you can absolutely apparently show a full mini deck, then pass a card through, then reveal the block with the Pocket version.

Oh that’s cool Mercury52. Thanks for pointing that out as I was unaware of the mini deck version.
The size difference is negligible to me so I still prefer the full size version but for pros battling pocket space it’s great they have the mini version.

Hope this is helpful.
I show a comparison of the Pokecet Hoy wood vs the larger Holy Wood (Engraved).

The smaller, lighter Pocket version works well. Easy on the hands for the reset.

Matchbox or card box version will suit multiple styles of performing.
