I saw this was being released exclusively by MagicandCards. Here's a link to the announcement

It’s a rattle box where they feel the object in there when they shake it and it stops shaking in their hands and then they can open the box and it’s empty.

The box can be given to the spectator and they shake it until the ring or coin "disappears". The spectator can open it and fully examine it. I think it's a pretty cool gimmick. Each box is handmade and you can really feel the quality.

Wonder if it comes in a red bicycle box as well?

Having the rattle stop while the spectator is shaking it and being examinable is pretty amazing. I think this can be a great utility tool.

I do wonder how “examinable” it is. By that I mean: how sturdy. I would be worried people would unintentionelly damage the box while inspecting it. Cardboxes tear easily in my experience.
Please check regularly if you are becoming the type of magician Jerry Seinfeld jokes about. (This applies to mentalists as well.)

That is my fear as well. I commented on a FB post asking if the gimmick can be transferred if the box is damaged. A reply was given stating it could possibly be done, but would be difficult.

With shipping to the US, tariffs, import fees... the total on this was just way too high for me to justify buying a card box. Not even a card box really, but one that could not easily be repaired/replaced. I'm hoping that this aspect may be relieved with a US release. I do like the premise, like the performance, like all of it... Durability is my concern.

It comes in red and blue boxes, but you would get a random color for the special release price. When the stock runs out, I'll try to offer color selection for preorders.

It is an awesome utility tool! Smile

This is a great review. The box is exactly as they show it in this video.

Thank you for sharing this!

Thank you for the reply! Unfortunately I don't use blue decks. What will be the cost when you can select to purchase specifically the red box?

I didn't see any link on the website to purchase this yet? Maybe I'm missing it but it says information isn't going to be available until April 4th.

How much was it for you to be shipped to the United States?

I was attempting to order it from Hide Project directly. I'm not sure if it is switching to exclusive through Magic and Cards, or if they're the exclusive US distributor. So, there shouldn't be a link to purchase until tomorrow.

I have been burned twice, pretty substantially in my opinion, with the added fees before delivery while receiving international orders. I have stopped ordering internationally. Even with the tariffs being lifted by the Supreme Court, the shipping agencies still act as if they have no idea what is going on. They then charge for the extra fees before delivery, as well as tack on their "brokerage" fees. Both times these brokerage fees were more than the tariffs. It is highway robbery! And, if refunds are to be issued, these brokerage fees are likely not to be included. If anything, the shipping companies will tack on a second fee to process the refund. This is not the fault of the producers and creators, it is a broken shipping system.

Sorry, rant over. I didn't mean to commandeer this post!

But, I am hoping with the exclusive release being shipped from the US, a lot of this can be relieved. It is a beautiful effect. Not cheap, but that comes with well crafted, hand made items. If the price is the same as if I ordered direct, or cheaper, I am on board.

The first batch will be released this Saturday. When that sells out, the page will turn into a preorder page for the next batch coming in from the creator.
When you sign up to be notified, you'll be the first to get the email once it is available to purchase Saturday morning.
We will have an exclusive discount on it for the first week. Smile

It will be shipped from the USA, so don't worry about any extra customs fees.

For the first week we'll still have the exclusive discount. We will try our best to give each customer their selected color, but unfortunately we still can't guarantee it.

Its current price is $95 and our 1 week special rate will be $89.95 + free US shipping. As spudster85 mentioned, it is not considered cheap, but it's handmade and of high quality.
