I know some gimmicks (the newest edition of Extractor comes to mind) can be removed and placed into a new card box. Is that possible with this for when the time comes? It looks like a great device!

It is possible. It's not easy, but doable with some patience and some arts and crafts skill. It requires 2 empty tuck boxes to make 1.

Received mine today. Practically no time at all and the workings are down. Super easy. And, VERY well made. If you need to vanish a ring or coin, this is a beautiful way to do so. I think it would pass inspection and I would have no problem handing it to a spectator to hold.

Reminds very much of the Improved 21st Century Rattle Box by Craig Brooks. I do own one of these and it is a wonderful piece of magic. But, ultimately, when a spec sees it they know it is a magic device. One has to explain why they have a little wooden box with them. Gone Ring solves this. It is a card box. Your normal decks can be stored in this. It is extremely organic.

My favorite part is not actually the sound (which is very convincing) but actually the feel. When shaking it feels like a ring or coin is bouncing around in the box.

And thanks for getting me a red box as I requested! I know no guarantees were made about the color, but Magic and Cards came through. As well, the origami piece was cool! Thanks!

I will store mine with a deck in it and in a plastic card case as I do my other decks. Hopefully, I can get a long life out of it. As I stated before, it is pricey for a cardboard box. But, it is a well designed, hand crafted, and beautiful piece of magic gimmicktry.

I'm glad you like it! Thank you for your kind support and nice words.

I got lucky and the red and blue boxes were barely enough for everyone who wanted one. So pretty much everyone got what they requested Smile

The first batch sold out instantly and we're getting a new batch next week so I'll update the website and put the exact quantity of blue and red boxes. We might also add a surprise 3rd option Smile

I received this today but they didn't include instructions, tutorial link, etc... As far as the looks go it seems to be made ok, not bad and not great but should be fine as soon as I can get instructions on how to get it working. So assuming it works as it's supposed to, I'll be looking forward to using it.

Hi Robert.

The tutorial link should be inside the box. If you don't find it, please send me an email with your order number and I'll send it to you right away. info@magicandcards.com

I just made it possible to select what color box you want. If you've been waiting for that, it is now active and you'll get the color you select. Smile

Just a quick update. Peter X took care of me on the instructions even though I bought it directly from Hide - thanks! (Hide also responded to my Email and sent the link to me a bit later) It does work as advertised and after not as I did not know how it worked without the tutorial, I would have no issue with a spectator holding this as I can't see them ever discovering the secret. Admittedly, I treated it a little gingerly as I didn't want to screw anything up as these are not cheap but I wouldn't have any issue putting this in someone's hand. Although, I wouldn't hand it to the alpha male, etc... as it is only a card box and someone, if they were so inclined, could destroy it, crush it, etc...

All in all, pretty cool! By the way, Peter X was very cool getting me taken care of and seems like a good person, so maybe take a minute and check out his shop the next time you need something, I will!

Magic and cards was kind enough to send me link for the instructions even though it was not purchased from them. Thank you.

The Folks over at Magic and Cards were particularly kind to me.
My box came shipped overseas and arrived somewhat warped,
So that the top of the box does not close properly.
They have offered to replace it
Sending me a new box
Once the new shipment comes in!
Amazing customer service in my humble opinion.

I like it and it does do a great job but I can not justify spending that much on something made of cardboard that could be easily broken or damgaed in transport or by a spectator, especially when out working in the real world where people have been drinking etc.

I agree. But like I mentioned before, moving the gimmick to a new box is possible. Not very easy, but very doable. Requires some patience and arts and crafts skills. I did it myself twice.

If you ever damage yours, send it over and I'll do it for you.

My concerns about longevity were put to rest. Where I thought a complex repair would be required, it is not. One can remove the gimmick and transfer to a new box. There is arts and crafts involved, but completely doable.

Awesome!

I think it's a great product with a lot of potential and will get great reactions. And that's why I'm proud of supporting the creator and offering it on my website.

Thanks!
