Is the search function going through an update or something? It hasn’t been working properly for me for a few months. For example, when I type “dry hands” into the search function, it just pulls up random threads that don’t even talk about dry hands. I remember a while ago there were threads on this exact post that I was reading. Just can’t find them now. Also when searching for specific effects, it’s hit or miss if the results pull up something even close to what I was looking for.

Just a few questions, not complaining. I have appreciated everything you guys do for many many years. The absolute best resource for magicians on the internet…hands down.

When I search “dry hands” using “exact phrase” it pulls up 13 pages of different posts, including many in a thread called “Dry Hands”.

If you don't check "exact phrase" and use multiple words, in this case dry hands, you'll see any post that either says dry or hands. For example, if you search for dry hands with no filter, the first post returned has the words dry skin. When we lost the server a while back, not every phrase or word was captured so if you are looking for something that is old, it may not come up in the search.
