In another thread, the topic of promotional materials came up and I offered some brief input on the topic. However, I thought I would ask - what promotional materials are you currently using and what has worked best for you over the years as a performer and/or entertainment business owner?
Some materials are the same and will never stop working well, yet other trends change with technology and preference. I know much may depend on the performance markets you work or are targeting, but today, in 2026, what do you use that is working best for you? I know at my agencies it is much easier accepting EPK that the old 5-pound promo pack of previous years, but regardless of what we use it must serve its purpose and properly represent yourself. This is a key tool in any performer's business. I'd be interested in what is working for you? |

I only use a flier for distribution at wedding fayres, and of course business cards. These are printed on high quality card stock.
I also use a pop up banner and larger display unit again specifically for wedding fayres. For general promotion I have blank faced playing cards with my business card on the backs which form part of a specific routine where the spectator takes this away (having signed the face).

Do any of you actually have marketing/promotional funnel or mapped-out path, process that you use?
