Self-Vanishing AirTag Coins are disappearing. Not in the magic sense.?In real life. Ask someone for a coin today and watch what happens.?They check their pockets… nothing.?They’ve got Apple Pay. A slim wallet. A phone. Coins are dead. But AirTags are gaining in popularity. Air Vanish takes the classic ball & vase / coin vanish principle… and upgrades it for 2026. HERE’S WHAT HAPPENS You show an AirTag. You place it into its keychain case.?Nothing hidden. Nothing suspicious. They hold it...Tight. No moves.?No switches.?No funny business. Then - It’s gone. Vanished from their hand.? AND THIS IS WHERE IT GETS WEIRD You open your phone. Track the AirTag. It’s not just gone… It’s somewhere else. Anywhere in the world. Paris.?London.?Tokyo. They name the place.?They see it appear there. In real time.? Then, when you bring it back, it can appear in their pocket, under their watch, in the card box, under a glass - wherever you can load an AirTag. WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT • Lives on your keychain • Always with you • Ready in seconds • No setup stress • No awkward props WHAT YOU RECEIVE • The Air Vanish gimmick • Special made app • Full tutorial from Alex Latorre, Juan Capilla, Yannick Barth & Geraint Clarke. Coin magic didn’t die. It's just evolving. This is Air Vanish. NOTE: Does not include genuine Apple AirTag, you'll need to buy that separately if you want to do the reappearance. The vanishing AirTag gimmick is included. I grabbed one. Arriving soon. Anyone see this yet? I think it looks good. |

Saw it...saw an app...not sure of longevity. Awaiting reviews. Coins are not dead.(historical relics/art maybe, but NOT dead) With that mentality, playing cards are dead too.

I fear they're going that way though. I feel it differs from cards in that they are dependent on everyday usage and being replaced by technology (tapping to pay for everything).

I like the idea of this, though will be curious to see how long the app is functional/supported in the future.

I think the app location change should occur BEFORE the spectator sees that the air tag has vanished in their hands. The real magic is the physical air tag ‘vanishing’, not the location on the phone changing.
You could pair this with TrickTrickBoom’s “KeyPad”. Buy one of the spare/extra iPad covers and put The Eiffel Tower on one and talk about how everything is “connected” these days which is a boon because you lose things so easily. Bring out your mini iPad and “Hey Siri, where is my luggage?” Turn the mini iPad around and show the sticker with the Eiffel Tower on it. Use the force Polaroid’s from Velith studios to force the Eiffel Tower if you wanted to connect 3 effects into a mini routine. |

Mine came. Like the props, they're solid. The app though, crashes on several cities each time. Hmm....

Coins are definitely dead. I even work in banking and feel their demise. No longer relevant.

Do you have to name a city, or can the spectator say a country?

Just performed a strolling event for a kids fest day where I did Daryl's three fly using $1 coins and when I asked the kids what kind of coins these are majority knew that they were $1 coins. Some guessed that they were half dollar coins in which case I would just say, "well you are halfway there". Even before I begin the routine and take out the coins, I do tell them that I know coins are starting to become less used but does anybody know what these coins are? Surprisingly majority of the kids always know. I think possibly in another 20 to 30 years coins may become less recognizable but not the case now in my experience and I have to say I perform this a lot.

I don't get the logic. It's true that coins or even bills aren't really carried much anymore. It's also true that air tags are increasingly common. But that does not mean it's a less suspect object to perform a trick with. in fact air tags look like a gimmicked object. And the air tag teleporting to named city is cute but c'mon, screams app gadget. Not feeling this one.

I purchased this.
Unfortunately the app is unreliable and unusable in its current state as it constantly keeps crashing. I realize that’s it’s still in beta, but I won’t be performing this until they can fix the bugs and have it be stable and reliable. |

I got the other app and will use the prop from this for it. Hopefully they get this worked on, but if not, the other is solid and more encompassing.
I'm working on a routine though. It's about a story, the mystique, and the mystery of how things can happen in strange ways. “If you know me, you know I love stuff like The X-Files, late-night Art Bell, weird stories, coincidences, all that kind of thing. There’s a show called The Why Files that dives into it. I was listening to one episode that was all over the place, Project Stargate, Project Looking Glass, quantum entanglement, all these fascinating topics. But what caught my attention wasn’t the claims, it was the pattern. Every time something real might get out, it shows up next to something so ridiculous people dismiss all of it. If you wanted to hide something, that’s how you’d do it. You don’t bury it, you just make sure it sits next to things nobody believes. I’m not saying it’s real, I just like the idea. So the whole premise, if you take him at what he was hinting at, is pretty wild. He basically said we’re in something like a system, a matrix, a holographic universe, whatever you want to call it, and that in the right state, with focus and intention, a person can actually influence where things are. He said the reason it doesn’t happen for most people is not that they don’t say they believe it, it’s that deep down they don’t, something in them rejects it, so nothing ever changes. But he said there’s a way to start. You don’t try something big, you start small, and you start with something you can’t see, because if you can’t see it, you can’t immediately prove yourself wrong. So he suggested something simple, take a coin or a ring, put it under a cup, and act as if. That’s the key, you have to act as IF it’s already gone. You know where it’s supposed to be, you picture it there, and you let the rest follow. And he said one day, if everything lines up, you lift the cup and it’s not there, and if you can send it, you can also bring it back. I'll tell you what, can I borrow a ring or a coin for a second? Think of any place in the world, first one that comes to mind. Okay, I’m going to commit to it, I believe it’s gone, do you believe it? Watch this. (snap fingers) And just like that, it travels back instantly from Tokyo. Are you guys impressed? Yeah, no, that’s fair, that’s exactly what should happen, it’s very hard to believe. (A playful gotcha moment before you get serious.) You know what? let's try it with something we can actually track, something where we don’t have to just take my word for it...Hold on... oh, you know what? I have airtags on my dogs, and I keep one on my keys so this could be perfect. If you're not an iphone person, this is just an airtag, it connects to a phone and tells you where it is, so for me, if I lost my keys or whatever. Let's just pretend. Act as if... (place under mug) if you can’t see inside this, you don’t actually know where it is, and if you don’t know, for a moment, anything is still possible, right? So think of somewhere, yeah, anywhere in the world, first place that comes to mind. Got one? Good. Watch... (hopefully freaks out as it moves across the country, and *maybe* they even think you're pulling there leg still with a special app or something, it's going to happen at some point) but... Then you lift the cup and show it gone. Wait a beat, they react and talk. Of course, in classic cups and balls fashion, you load the real airtag under the mug with all the time in the world as they react to the vanish of the now-empty holder that you flicked forward on the table with your finger as you lifted the cup, and voila, loaded and set. Then? Trick over, lean back and smile. Of course, then you let *them* suggest it come back after you put the keys away and act as if its over. They will. "Okay, I guess I do need it, ha! Watch and concentrate... (movement returned). Lift the mug. There it is. As usual (for me) the props are ancillary to the thing that happens. The magic is always in their mind, not on the table. |

Well I was pretty impressed with myself. Hoping I wasn't the only one
I'll stick to acting and patting my own back. (Bueller? Bueller? "Nathan... omg... how come you're SOOOOO brilliant? You do everything so well! I wish I could *be* you!" (Would that be so hard?) Well, hitting the coffee shop today. Maybe I'll try it out. |

So you bought this/comes with an app, but buy another app to make it work. I am really sick of BETA apps. Either release it in testflight and keep it fixed to avoid APPLE OR make a webpage/shorts method. I bought 3 items last year that after I found out were in BETA.
I stand by my comment above
PS, nice routine Nathan *pats on back* |
