I used to be a bit of a royalist until the whole 'prince' Andrew thing. Then I realised I had been 'mugged off' for years..
Anyway I hope you can release more from the great Max Maven.Maybe that fly swot piece.A similar fly swot trick on the market has blood everywhere on the splat cards. Not nice.

This release has reminded me of Max Maven's original and it is a real gem. Since rediscovering it I have really put it to great use. I highly recommend.

Quote: I'm not a "royalist", so I had no idea that he he had turned 80, nor did I celebrate. But congrats to him, I guess. Hej Tom, on another note. Did you get to celebrate with King Carl on his 80th birthday? [/quote] Tom at least your Royalist is ceremonial. ;-)
Carl paid a visit to my university in Detroit many years ago.

"Every great story requires a beginning and an ending. In this case, I'll begin our story and you'll provide the ending."
This is how I've been presenting Pixx this past week. And, I've had great reactions to a nice ending (which happens often): First, I place the 2 red cards at opposite ends (I don't bother with the cutting/mixing procedure as, in my view, it's not necessary and makes this seem more like a card trick). S0, bacon first, chicken last. 8 out of 10 times, bacon has not been chosen, resulting in the chicken sitting at the bottom of the final pile (those who own Pixx will understand). So, when the reveal is done, the final pairing allows the following line to end the routine: "And, finally, we not only know how the story ends, but which came first - the chicken or the egg!" Pixx is a really fun and easy to follow piece. Well done, Tom! |
