Hi Lou,

On Facebook, in the KIDabra Group, David Ginn was selling an item called "Peppermint Silks" back in March 2026. It was like the Snake Silks that he sells. The photos and video clip show what you're describing. A red and white striped silk streamer into 2 separate streamers - one red and one white.

Here's the description:

"PEPPERMINT SILK — new item! — watch the short video. Give this four-foot silk streamer a good shake or two, and it changes into TWO SOLID 4-FT SILKS as shown. Easy to do. Works like my Snake Silks of years ago. Can be used as cover for a dove or silk production after the split." (It was priced around $35.)

I don't know if he still has the item in stock. You'd have to ask him directly.

(Note #1 - I couldn't find it on his website, but there are lots of items that he lists on Facebook that aren't listed on his website.)

(Note #2 - Not to be mixed up with Barry Mitchell's Peppermint Silks. That's a different trick with an image of a candy cane printed on a square silk, that is broken and restored.)

Hey Donald,

David Ginn got back to me. He doesn't have any left - and won't be getting more.

Hi Richard,

I don't know the dimensions or weight of the Peppermint Silks that David Ginn sold. Have you made these before? Could you DM me?

Warm regards,
Lou
