I have a packet trick that depends on the cards evenly fanning to avoid exposing the gimmicked card. However, lately they have begun to stick. It seems their finish is no longer slippery. Short of fanning powder, is there anyway to restore the finish?

Please forgive me if this question has been asked a hundred times. I can't seem to find the answer anywhere,and a Cafe search doesn't turn up anything.
