I hope I don't lose this story, in too many words.
I'm dazingly wired, in the moment.

I've spent the most of yesterday, in the custody, of German Polizei.
Six hours in 'the cage'.

'Un-ruhe' in Karlsruhe.
Beautifull towne.
Spacious. Well trodden. Flat.
'Spots'.
Albeit, between cobble-stone-street-layers and the occasional steam-shuffle.

Monika and I shared the towne.
She took one end,..I, the other.
At 11 o'clock, the first notes began filling the air.
At 11 o'five, the first coins flew.
Back and forth, back and forth,..between the two; things were flowing.

At 11:30, the violins started. (wtf?..!!..?)
50 meters,..147 feet, from where I was 'coin-certing'.

A slightly heavy 'chickie',..
with an electric violin, an iPhone 'orchestra',...
and a Bose S1 Pro+ Sound System.
.power.

oK. I 'had' done my 30 minutes.
I'm not the fighter, I once was.
Some call it wisdom.

I packed up.
Pushed by her.
...
Stopped and yelled!

Some call it,...stupid.

No one EVER called ME ... 'wise'!
....except Imag, ... once. : )

She told me to "F…k off! Or she would call the Polizei."

"Great!", I responded. "Then we can talk about that illegal amp."

She called (!).

The boy cames.
Two cars,...one van.
Three boys,..three girlys.

She began crying,..told a tale of woe that made 'Custers last stand' sound like a picnic!

I calmly waited.

THEN, the owner from the Shop behind us,
came out,..
and varified HER story!

The 'boys and girls' looked at me and said:
(in 6 point harmony!)
"You're banned from playing here, the rest of the day. Klar!"

"Only if SHE is also banned, for using an amp."

"Hands behind your back!"
click. click. ...off I went.

Bottom-line #1
* A 'damsel in distress',..(in a hot-dress!)
will always get out of a mess.


I was packed up, processed, and pent-up;
....for 'refusing to obey the Polizei'.
(no mention of 'busking')
....until 'sun down'. (22:00)

Stripped.
Searched.
Finger up the butt. (His)
Finger printed. (Mine)
Underpants. Socks. Two cups of water. No toilet paper.
Slam. Clapp,...Whosh!

Five hours later,..
a call, from 'the Judge',
on an old Nokia 'cell'-phone,..
through the sliding metal eye-slot.

Finally, I could tell 'my' story.

She listened.

She then, ... let me walk. : )

..,and a loooonng walk it was(!),
back into towne!

Monika was waiting next to my Klav-ini.
The 'boys and girls' had informed her.

As I reached my Klav-ini, two Polizei showed up, shortly, as well.
Two, in one car.
Not so very happy, I was peddling the pavement,...again.
Early.

They warned me about playing.
...advised me to pack and move,...townes.

I was too 'burned', to play.
But, I asked them to hear my 'tale-wag'.

They did(!).
I thanked them.

Then heard: "Damsel in distress, WITH WITNESS! No discussion."
öK.

Then,..(!):
"In public space, YOU(!), have no RIGHTS to a specific spot.(!)
Anyone can come next to you,..begin singing,..farting,..
or play their Violin.
THEY have that Right.
Right next to you.
Only your physical safety is protected.
As is theirs."

BAM!...! What? shock.

Monika and I pushed slowly,..sadly,.. 'home'.

"Man, what folks will do,...TO OTHERS(!),...for a few bucks...."
"Man,...how folks will openly lie."
"Man,..how Polizei will ignore the completness, of a story."

Bottom-line #2:
The Law has NOTHING to do, with treating one another 'Humanistically'.

We DID(!) ... pack and leave,..Karlsruhe.
With my 'other tail',..between my legs...
my head bowed low.
I,..we...felt 'bad'.
Betrayed.

At two o'clock, in the morning,
we found a parking spot,
in a little towne, 20 kilos, to the south.
Ettlingen.

Small,...but it was Saturday,...there would be a market.

We couldn't sleep.

Hate.
Frustration.
'Clever-little-tricky-plans.'
Beaten.
Our heads were full.

Before pushing back the bed-spread,
we un-loaded our Instruments.
...to insure we would get-up(!),
the next morning. : )

We did.
And at 10 o'clock,
we were in towne,...ready. willing.
,..but somehow,...empty.

Monika is a Profi.
She walked over to a corner, of the Markt;
set up,..
ten minutes later, I heard:
???? Hey Pippi Langstrumpf, fiddi la la la la laa! ????

Three minute later,...applause.

She's the best.
Really.

I'm am emotional,..sentimental,...philosophical,...marshmellow.

I couldn't 'get it up'.

Found myself a hole-in-the-wall Café.
Ordered an espresso.

"If I don't play, They win."

I went out,..found a little, but shadey tree,..
a quiet spot.
Me,..and the tree,...AND A STORCH(!), clappering away(!.!),
on a chimney,
behind me.

I smiled.
Un-packed.
'Ludwig van', opened the Show.
That was my mood.
'The Moonshine Sonata.' ... the first blues.

I felt good.
And that's all that mattered,
...in this moment.

Not the best of 'Show advice'!

I didn't even look, for an Audience.

Can't let a few pebbles become boulders,
that trip up our dance!

The Streets are overwelmingly FILLED, with warm,..loving people.
Give them their chance.
We need them, as much as they need us.

Yes once you start telling someone who can take your freedom how it is going to work it rarely helps.

You can bear the charge, but you can’t beat the ride. The process IS the punishment. It was about their ego and you telling them what was what.

It will be painfull,...but,..WHAT A RIDE!"

Monika responded: "The only 'bull' in this. room, is the storyes you're spewing!"

She's know my 'confident, not bat an eye' look.

In reality I spelled it wrong. You can BEAT the charge, but you can’t BEAT the ride.

They know full well the charge won’t stick. There will, and do, punish you with the process. They are home sleeping in their beds, you not so much.

The KNOW the process will be all the punishment you get and they are good with that.

That allows them to satisfy the ego bruise you gave them by telling them that you both have to go.

Terrible behavior, and happens all too often.
