MINI LOCKED CHEST - Ring Box

An old effect, I know. But what a beautiful little item I have just picked up.
So something "old" has become something "new again" (for me).

This has had many variations and produced under different names, I am sure.
This tiny wooden box with brass hinges and padlock is intriguing to behold.
A very enticing innocent looking item ... you just want to pick it up when you see it, its a very tactile thing!

Indeed, by all means pick it up and examine everything.
It's just a box ... or so it seems.

You will not find anything that might reveal its workings.
The secret is well hidden. Think of it as a variation of a "Sing Sing Ring Box".

Small items such as a ring, folded billet, coin etc, can be easily placed or stolen from the box.

Measuring 5.5cm wide, 5.5cm deep, and 4.5cm high.
I tried to enclose an image, but cannot make the required 75kb size requirement.

I am trying to find a routine where I do not have to cover the box during the performance.
But perhaps I am being a bit to ambitious.
Your thoughts on this one would be much appreciated.
