Because of a stroke 25 years ago....my left hand never quite came back - It's still kind of wonky (it's my dominant hand (Of course) but I digress...Trap door magic (on youtube)has dozens of self workers for FREE.......I love John Bannon's stuff especially AK47...but alas...no downloads.....so should I stick with trap door magic or not??? (I understand it's my call) but I just want thoughts and opinions....by the way...Trap Door magic has a large selection of effects that can be done with a Stebbins stack (another plus)....I believe trap door magic has an inexpensive purvhase of ALL his effects with gasffs for about 30 bucks....i'm going to dig a little deeper..

I'm not familiar with Trapdoor Magic, but some things that would appear to work well with a less than nominal hand would include:
Gemini Twins and the decks that make use of the principle. I love Ghost Deck. It's easy to do and gets great reactions. The invisible deck Anything where you talk the spectator through the trick and they do most or all of the work. Red Herring by Ben Earl Con Cam Coincidencia by R Paul Wilson You do as I do - various versions Search and Destroy by Aaron Fisher Out of this world - various versions The Circus card trick, aka Turnover card in Mark Wilson's CCIM Various poker deals that rely on stacks This might make a great sticky thread! We should keep adding to this list. What other tricks work well with a bum hand? |

Thank You...Trapdoor magic is a wewbsite where he teaches many self workers - he even has a whole section (FOR FREE I MIGHT ADD...SO I WILL) on effects (I learned many years ago from the guys at tannen's in NYC Don't call them tricks....call them effects....BUT I DIGRESS...i know John Bannon has lots of GREAT self workers ( but it's more than I can keep in my head....so I am writing a brief synopsis of each one as a reminder to me on Index cards and keeping them in my agic case or my pocket......Right now...I'm looking for John Bannon's Collusion....does anyone know if this is a download? And/or dies anyone have the tutorial??? they can share...
I use gemini twins with blank faces as a kicker...Do as I do.....and one or 2 prediction effects....Thoughts, ideas...hint's tips or tricks?? |

If you enjoy Bannon self workers, he has videos at Big Blind Media, called Move Zero.

I have 2 great little tricks..I like Shuffle bored by Simon Aronson and the same trick by Aldo Columbini..I also like the trick with the setup of any suit on the bottom ave to king you cut the cards once or twice and you tell the spectator you are tired tell them to cut until they cut to the set up suit then you count down to the card showing an d their card is there..i forget the name of that one...

I agree with magicfish. If you want to learn "Collusion", buy volume 1 of Move Zero by Big Blind Media. You can get the whole box set download (all four volumes) for £34.99 (approx. $47), which is an absolute bargain.
If possible, I'd encourage you to buy it direct from Owen and the BBM team. Marty |
