Well I just got a last chance to edit address email so hopefully moving forward

According the mail/kickstarter this means they won't ship before the next two days, so at the earliest on Thursday. Than they have to get get all the information etc, so shipping probably starts on Friday. Depending how they ship and where they ship from, it could take another couple of weeks before we get our kits.

That all being said.. have heard anything about these...

So this is what I've decided on: I can't make it any fairer than this. What I'm going to do is I'm going to sit down and I'm going to add more routines in the time on the run-up to Christmas...

"I'm going to choose five of those routines and I'm going to perform five of them on my friends and film the explanations and give them as an extra gift solely to the people that purchased on Kickstarter, so you're not missing out. Even if there is a slight delay, it's actually better for you because I'm adding five routines. And if there's any other delays, which I don't think there will be, then you'll get another five routines. So that's 10 more routines that you can do with your kit, and everybody wins."

Pigcake just did an update that he's starting to prepare the US ones while he's sending a create to Pete. So I anticipate a few more months for me in the UK if it's going through customs. Etc. Then expecting they'll probably be issues with the add ones. But it'll be a pleasant surprise if my pessimism is wrong.

Hello! For what it is worth, I got an email today asking for the final leg of shipping. That bodes well to me!

I kickstart a decent amount of things as a boardgame aficionado so I have an in-built assumption that any project I back will be either at my door in ~two years or not at all. I fully understand many don't feel that way but, since I do, I'm alright and eager for the delivery!

Glad to hear that! Hopefully we all receive that email soon. I imagine they are doing them in batches, starting with the first who placed their orders.

I might be wrong, but if it's a crate coming to Pete first, then it's got to make it to the UK first, customs, final leg of the journey, get unpacked, etc. Assume a few delays with large shipment. That's before he starts sending it out. S0 just being realistic to avoid disappointment. In all honesty I expected at least a years wait. I thought the original timescales were probably not realistic from my experience of creating props on a much smaller scale. I'm not annoyed, just not about to start camping by the front door expecting a delivery. It's moving on and had updates.

WTF, someone on the kickstarter page is saying we have to pay for shipping? I've never come across a kickstarter where shipping was not included? This was never mentioned?! I'm going to be very ****ed of if this is the case.

Edit:
Extra costs for shipping are never mentioned on Kickstart (which Kickstarter highly recommends to do).
The pledge explicitly mentioned shipping $0.00, if it was calculated later it would give an estimate.
I can't find if and when they said anything about shipping, besides shipping from US, UK and EU, to keep costs low and avoid extra import tax and stuff like that.

I totally understood the delays because of the products, but now they are ****ing with us. I don't give a ---- if its just $10 or whatever. The fact that they haven't mentioned it before if very, very shady business.

Once again, this is my own experience from backing so many boardgame Kickstarters but I also always assume I'll get a later shipping bill. I live in NC USA and just paid ~7 bucks for shipping. Not bad & I've been hit with A LOT worse. BUT I budget in this mentally & financially when backing Kickstarters. I fully agree that shipping should have been more clearly explained or anticipated in the campaign and just because I'm ok with it doesn't mean everyone else should be.

Hopefully everyones is as reasonable a shipping fee as my own!

On Pete’s latest video on You Tube he has just said that the box from PigCake is on its way from the USA. So it’s still hurry up and wait!

Maybe he'll include the lecture on Lipping as a way to apologize for the wait? /s

I received the kit last week, still waiting for the add-ons that are supposed to come this week.

The box itself looks to be of good quality. The props inside the box seem to be of average quality.

There are some 83 videos, ranging from a couple of minutes to much longer. So the teaching videos look to be pretty extensive. I haven't started going through the videos yet, but hope to soon.

I received my copy last week and have only had the time to go through the physical books. I think the meat is in the videos (especially hearing there are 80+) I plan on going through them more thoroughly and then giving a proper review. That being said: Initial impressions are good! I liked the Cold Reading Companion most so far between the two physical books.

That's disappointing for something they hyped up so much, claiming the delays were to ensure the quality.

Yesterday I received the links for the add-ons The Grail and The Journey, which is appreciated. Now just waiting to receive the last add-on, Beyond The Veil. I understand they are adding some bonus content to this, and it should be sent out soon.

My kit came in the mail last week while I was out of town and I've only just started exploring it. I know we all have different sets of expectations and so far I am very happy with what I've received. I never minded the wait because Peter and Pigcake stayed on top of the updates and the delays were obviously out of their hands.

So far I've looked over the props, watched the documentary, and made a quick read through of the booklet. There is an excellent framework for tarot readings shared in the documentary I will definately use. The write up for the sound of silence is absolute gold and I haven't even watched the video portion yet.

The pendulum and stones are just that, ungimmicked, and included I'm sure for those weird folks who don't already own them. I have literally hundreds of pendulums similar to this one as I used to sell them, and jars full of similar stones. The fact they are ordinary is to me a strength and I'm looking forward to the video content which is where the real meat of this project is going to be.

I love the art on the Tarot cards and wouldn't mind an unmarked version. The change bag is well made and inconspicuous. The box is great quality and has beautiful artwork on the bottom which can easily be covered over with a bit of black felt if desired. The billet holder which I was most looking forward to out of the props, and is the primary bump in the road for this project, turned out great I think. I will be using and abusing it and hopefully can pick up several back ups down the line.

Maybe I'm just easily pleased but having not even made it to the video content at the heart of the kit, the cold reading companion, or beyond the veil I'm already happy with what I've seen so far.
