I did play with razor blade eating routines about a decade or so ago. I checked most what was on the market at that time and these tree were the best.

Tim Ellis routine. It should be in his DVD's and is possibly sold separately.
Thomas Medina Geek Magic or might be Razorblade magic. Has multiple methods but doesn't have that well thought out routine.
Scott Alexander the Blades. Very expensive but was best method and presentation wise. I used that for few years in my professional show. However, methodwise it is NOT worth it! Medina video has same info method wise but not put together ready to go. But every bit of the method in Alexander routine, is also in Medina.

Mr. uha-Matti Thanks for the great ideas! Do you usually perform Scott's version, too? I recently attended a show by a friend of mine who performs the Scott Alexander version. He mentioned that he had improved the tying method—and I believe him, because he is one of the most brilliant magicians I’ve ever met. He invited me over and promised to teach me how to handle the trick. I think I’ll be visiting him sometime within the next month.
Mr.George—yes, razor blades are very recognizable objects. I’ve never had any issues with that.

Method is nothing. From gimmicked switching stand to just using a hanky, it is the routine that makes it go.
Now if someone could come up with a threaded disposable razors on a string that would be something. But think what a big mouth cavity you would need.
I like the lifesavers on a string. Less lethal looking but still gets the idea across.
