WOW! Searched rubber chicken and found some great material.
Why did the chicken cross the road? Of course your audience will respond: TO GET TO THE OTHER SIDE... Magician replys... True but sometimes they don't always make it. Show the rubber chicken, turn it around to show tire marks across the back of the chicken. So, I went into the garage found the rubber chicken and marked it up. I went to the dollar store bought a toy car painted the tires black and right away drove the car across the back of the chicken. Great Comedy!!! Thanks for the advice! Think this should be put in a KFC bucket!!! |

I was going to ask, does anyone know cool magic tricks, besides biting its head off, with a rubber chicken. Maybe get the chicken to find a card, throw the rubber chicken, and impale an assistan? I once just yelled "RUBBER CHICKEN" and threw it at the audience, and the kids screamed then laughed, it was kind of funny.

Hi,
As far as rubber chickens, the best routine out there in my opinion is the Wolfs Magic Chicken Sword. This is a card sword routine with a card launcher that throws cards 10 feet in the air. Then the chicken finds the selected card. It's got a TON of built in comedy. I do it for kids shows and adults, and everyone loves it. The price may scare you a bit, but it's really worth it. Killer funny stuff. http://www.wolfsmagic.com Keith PS I love the idea of throwing a chicken into the audience, that's funny stuff!

I actually perform a signed card to rubber chicken's butt (no kidding!). I've been told that I'm best at creating when my medication wears off (kidding). The inspiration for my routine was a gag that Steve Spill used to perform, and I just turned that gag into a magic effect.

I wonder if you could glue the toy car to the chicken so when you turn it around the car is still there.

Arthur,
Sorry I didn't credit you about your sword. I gave all the credit to Chance, when the killer routine was yours! My bad. It's great stuff though. Love it. Keith

I guess you could glue the car to the rubber chicken!! That would be funny to. I think it may flash before turning the chicken around while telling the joke.
I like the tire tracks alone, seems more realistic, but then again it is a RUBBER CHICKEN after all so why not!! Tophatter. Magic arty, Yes a great gag for adults & children shows. Take the chicken out of a KFC bucket. Guess where I am having lunch Saturday. Tophatter. |

Hey guys Peter Marucci ran a contest for RC gags in the linking ring and a whole lot of them turned up, including the one with the tire marks.
The ideas are well worth looking at. Maybe Marucci can come up with more? |

Peter Marucci... Thanks for the rubber chicken gag with the tire marks. This is great!!! Also read about the rubber fish. Make some holes in the fish, produce it saying..... HOLY MACKERAL!! Then I will produce the dove.
Tophatter. Anyone else know some gags with a rubber fish? I have seen these hanging in magic shops for years. Now I have to get one! Thanks. Tophatter |
