Best Bang for the Bucks
1. Paul Potassy's The World Renowned Magic of Paul Potassy 2. Easy to Master Mental Miracles vol.1-2-3-4 (Richard Osterlind) 3. Something More Than an Illusion vol.1-2-3 (Henry Evans) 4. The Essentials vol.1-2-3 (Aldo Colombini) 5. 22 Blows to the Head (Jay Sankey) I know lots of my choices are series, but any single DVD from any of those series is well worth spending on because each of the single DVDs gives you plenty of great effects you will use in your performances. |

The Encyclopedia of Coin sleights DVD set has started many magicians (including Reed mcClintock and Giacomo Bertini) on the road to coin magic.
The new York Coin Magic Seminar DVD set (now totaling 13 volumes), contains over 140 routines and over 30 hours of high caliber cutting edge coin magic, as well as discussions, new moves, and no filler. Each DVD is about 2 hours long, and volume one is a 2 disc set containing almost 4 hours of coin magic alone!
Available at dealers EVERYWHERE - RUBINSTEIN COIN MAGIC- The biggest book on coin magic since Bobo's Modern Coin Magic, and the most important since David Roth's Expert Coin Magic! Hardbound, 500 pages, 20 chapters of state of the art coin magic illustrated with 930 crisp photos! A contribution chapter from over 20 of the world's top coin magicians! This will be the book against which all future books on coin magic will be measured! Already called a Modern Classic!!
And if anyone (USA ONLY) needs some of the coin stuff used in the book, shoot me an email at rubinsteindvm@aol.com as I have some limited supplies of coins and props used in the book. |

For my money, Joshua Jay's Talk About Tricks DVD set has to be the best bang for your buck product on the market. So much killer close-up and stand-up routines. The effects range from self-working to very difficult. Absolutely killer material.

Gregory Wilson's OFF THE CUFF and ON THE SPOT are brilliant impromptu magic instruction.
The basic premise of misdirection is taught as well. |

Confessions of a Needle Swallower if you need five minutes that kills, sure-fire, funny and amazing, good for stage, parlor, even close-up.
