Hello, My name is Matt;

I have been a hobbiest in magic for about 9 years, and I have recently been "hitting the books" pretty hard. I don't know why, but I seem to have just gotten an urge to get more into it.
My favorites are close-up, and card magic. One of my favorite things is walking through the mall here in Lancaster, CA and stopping people. I love it when people say "Oh, I know what you did..." and then I proceed to prove them wrong.
Anyways-
Thank you for letting me babble about myself.
I was also curious, I remember having a magician friend here in Lancaster, CA who was pretty amazing, and quite an inspiration to me. If anyone knows a Magician by the first name of Yuri (I think that's spelled right), Please direct him to me.
