I remember seeing this person doing some flourishes with a pack of card a few years back and just last night I had the urge to find out what the flourish was called and where I could learn it.
For the flourish I remember after they did a few moves it ended up looking like a bunch of triangles or pyramids. |

Please be more descriptive. There are many flourishes that end up looking like, "A bunch of triangles or pyramids."

Try this little vid. It might have a bit of what you are looking for.

I believe you are either talking about the Jerry's pyramid cut on the Xtreme vid or Joey Burtons triangle work which isn't on video.

I remeber seeing Alain Nu do a cut/display? and he formed a pyramid with the cards...Im not sure if its his or Burton's or one of the superhandz cut's... I asked him, and he said it was called the Luxor Cut??

It might of been Jerry's Pyramid Cut. Its taught in THe Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes.

Hooser uses Joey's Luxor display for his 'Ultimate Illogical Cut'...

It could be from the underground magazine, Penumbra. Or from Superhandz.com.
I would say for you to be a little more specific. XFactor |

If you get the chance, meet Joey Burton and watch him do some stuff. He PERFORMS the flourishes, not just does them. He is excellent. The End.

Another flourish which came to mind straight away when the triangle was mentioned was a cobra cut. See superhandz.com and watch his tribute to the cobra cuts there.

The cobra w/ the triangle is the King Cobra. Trifecta is also a triangle, but that's an actual effect, not just a flourish. (And it's pretty lame in the flourish department)
