On my first visit to the Magic Castle, as a kid (Sunday Brunch) in the 70's the "kid show" that day was Charlie Miller and Johnny Platt(!) Charlie did the Rice Bowls (whistling, of course) and Johnny did the Cups and Balls with that great running gag with the little drum. When I worked with Kramien in the 80's and we played the Castle many times, I remember Charlie sitting at the little table by the kitchen having dinner every night. Bill Larsen and the gang really looked after him at the end, as they did Vernon. Hard to believe Charlie, Johnny, Vernon and Bill are all gone now. I'm starting to feel OLD!
