The number 2 is generally used for aesthetic value. Have you ever noticed the time of a watch in a sales ad?

The Two of Clubs is an excellent choice.
If you read Tarot, you realize that the card can represent the vision of the filmmaker or actor. See one interpretation of the Two of Wands here. In particular, note that "When this card's energy enters your life, you will find the ability to make your dreams into reality, to achieve your highest ambitions. Now is the time to understand how we create our own reality every second of our lives." Isn't that the essence of film? Note also that our favorite postmodern magic duo, Penn and Teller, use the Three of Clubs as their signature force card. In doing so, they convey to the knowledgeable that they are "beyond" the confining conventions of twentieth-century performance, while still grounded in it. This "statement" is reflected in the inclusion of the regular Three of Clubs in the Bicycle Black Tiger Deck. Yours, Paul |
