You're hungry...you have ten bucks (10 USD) where do you go...

Taco Bell:

WienerSchnitzel:

Wendys:

Jack In The Box:

KFC:

Long John Silvers:

I choose Weinerschnitzel above all and have since 1967. Who gets your dough? (USD) Opinions?

If you must, you can include McDonald's, Burger King and Dairy Queen. Blech.

Those in UK please start a UK thread so we can all learn.

Jack In The Box. When I left San Diego, I was sad that I would not have JITB. When I saw that they had them in Idaho, I about dang near cried. Smile

Hmmm, let's see... junk and fat, junk and fat, junk and fat, ahh, there's one! Subway. The only one mentioned so far I wouldn't hate myself for eating at.

Two of my favorite "Fast Food" joints are not available in my state. They are:
H.Salt Esquire (Fish & Chips).
Carl Jr's (California Sandwich).

My favorite places that are local and on your list are:
Weinerschnitzel (Hotdogs, Mustard Dog & Chile Dog).
Jack-In-The-Box (Hamburgers, Taco's) their Taco's have to be one of the most unhealthy things you can eat but I sure do like them alot.
Kentucky Fried Chicken (Extra Crispy Chicken & Cole Slaw).

My favorite places that are local but not on your list are:
The Taco wagon's that are parked in various parking lot's or just along side the road (Taco's & Tamale's) these are real down home Mexican style Home cooking.
King Charlie’s (Hamburger's and Great Shakes).

McDonald's is Food?

Can't believe nobody has said Wendy's yet. Even though they are way too expensive...I'd pick them for their good burgers, fries, and chicken stuff. Plus, it doesn't help that they are on campus so I am always walking by there...

What are we talking about here...I'd go to Starbuck's!

With enough of a buzz you wouldn't be hungry, they also have pastry and such.

I just think of Starbucks because I am a very long way from one.

I will vote for KFC, good stuff and the pot pies they have are great and not very expensive.

For a good burger... no, a great burger I say go to In and Out burger!

Hi GlenD...I didn't put In & Out on the list because they Are so regional...but also because the burgers are so small! (good but where IS the beef?)

drwilson...there is a Starbucks every 6 1/2 inches around here (socal)

In my little town of Encinitas, they are stand alone stores...they are in the Vons Supermarkets...they are even in the freakin' book store! Overkill personified.

Yet we have to drive nearly 35 miles south to the Wienerschnitzel....and a bout the same but north to the Long John Silvers.

Depends on how hungry I am. If I'm just a little grumbly, Taco Bell, hands down. If I haven't eaten a a couple days, KFC for the all you can eat buffet. I'd pack it about 20 extra crispy legs, a pile of mashed potatoes, and a bowl of cole slaw.

Interesting...

Here in Canada... taco bell seems to use the lowest grade of beef allowed. The food is very cheap.

WienerSchnitzel, Jack In The Box, and Long John Silvers don't exist in Ontario, as far as I know.

KFC doesn't have a buffet and is very, very greasy. Though, I have fond childhood memories.

So, the best bet from your list would be Wendy's. Great salads and neat limited time only meals.

Cheers - El Lamo
