I thought about this while looking at the newspaper this morning.

First let me say, that in no way am I condoning copying acts...BUT

has anybody noticed the veritable plethora of Elvis's performining every where you look? I think there must be at least one Elvis wanna-be in every town in the country. They even have their own annual convention in Vegas.

The guy in my town legally changed his name and makes a pretty good living copying Elvis.

I think this is exactly what we magicians hate, but the public is eating this stuff up.

I'd be interested in anybody's thoughts.

Again, I'm not condoning it, but I think it's an interesting phenomena.

There will soon be as many Blaine clones about, lol.

Any Elvis magicians out there? Could sing Rock around the Clock while doing The Spirit Dial, I'm All Shook Up, doing Blitz Cocktail, In the Ghetto doing a little street magic...

Okay, okay, I'm joking.

Hey, my big dream, living in Vegas, was to get a pair of thick black rimmed glasses, change my name to Buddy McManus and become an Elvis impersonator.

...oh, you meant Presley.

would have been a big hit with the Emo crowd, though...
