Derren,
Seeing as you say you got involved in performance after seeing a hypnotist at university I presume that was when you started magic - cards included. As most card guys seem to have first handled a deck in the womb and perfected the pass at the age of 5, how on earth is your card handling so good although you only began as an adult? Thanks for the great shows and books. AM was the first ever magic book I bought and I count myself very lucky that that was the case. |

Hi Derren,
I'm also very curious on the way you practice. Since reaching the level of popularity you have attained, how do you personally practice? How do you feel towards making a mistake in public (if that has ever happened)? What do you feel is the most efficient way of handling hecklers? I second Sharp on that Absolute Magic was the first magic book I purchased and it sure set my mind straight toward poetic magic. Thanks Lance
