I just recieved this and for any of you metal benders, you have to see this. one tine bends, then all bend, the handle twists, the handle then bends, restraightens (in their hand), then melts. Along with breaking off in specs hand. This is Morgan's routine that was just released and exclusive at Penguin. Even if you don't care for penguin.....please check this out.

When you say you "just received this," do you mean you bought it and received it and have actually handled it or do you mean you just viewed the video?

I'd like to hear from anyone who actually has this in their hands. All the hype is great, but until someone has actually watched the DVD, it's all hypothetical.
Penguin has a lot of reviews from people saying it's great, it's wonderful. However, none of them actually have it. What's up with that? |

A lot of people know Morgan personally and/or have seen his routine many times live.
I've seen him do it many times live, and it truly is killer. While I can't comment on the picture quality of the video, I can say for sure that the material presented on it is 100% killer stuff. |

I agree with Daegs, the picture quality of the video and the demo of the product is really lacking, how ever I can say for sure that the female material presented on it is 100% killer stuff.

In about 20 minutes, I shall have my hand on the DVD, so I'll post a review once I watch it. I'm getting back into magic after 3 years lay off, so I should give ya a nice perspective from a "new beginner" stand point.

I got it today. First of all, most of the mends on the DVD are nothing new, but there are a couple things, especially the multiple tine bend that are new.
That being said, he style and way that he puts them together is different. In his rountine, one fork bends then breaks, and another one bends, twists, the tines bend twice, and it bends again. It ends up as one heck of a souveneir. The bends really hit you, it's a great routine. Overall, it's a great DVD and I liked it. Recomended. |

I like it. It isn't a groundbreaker, but does syncronize a lot of material from past masters. I am happy with this one and recommend it. Clean.

What I like about the dvd, even though most "moves" are simple, it's "How" he uses the crowd as he makes the moves. Granted, showman ship really sells the trick and what I like, he teaches you why he says, or looks or jestures...little suttle things that we tend to find out for the school of hard knocks.
Learning to preform is good...learning the how's and whys of the way your brain preceives and processes things...and knowing how to apply them can only make you a preformer a step above the average. I've been preforming many years and this is my first dabble into metal bending. I was floored on the simplicity of the moves and the "charactor he portraied", non agressive, would you...if I may..etc, always polite, which helps defuse possible problems that may arise withih the crowd.
