I believe there is a ball and vase routine in in The Feints and Temps of Harry Riser.

Bill is correct.

I believe it's a ball and vase and cone, however.
Let me go check. The book is in the bathroom...

... got it. The routine is called
"Ball, Cone, and Box Routine"

I had the leather cone made for someone else that did this effect. It's 5" high.

The balls are 1 3/4" for his routine.
