I recently purchased a Viking Magic Auto Silk to Ball. It's terrible.

I'd like to do this effect in my act, but I need a quality piece. The one I have works, but isn't practical or someone who does more than 10 shows a year.

Does anyone know if there is a Japanese version, or any other version that will last?

ANY help would be awesome! Please PM me if you need.

Thanks!

Dave

Norm Neilsen used to sell one. I would contact Norm and talk to him about it.

It is an old effect that was made in Europe. I would also check some the used magic dealers, (Ron Alessi, Kenna Thompson, Mario Carrandi), tell them what you are looking for.

I don't know who these dealers are, do you know of any contact information, or how to find them?

Thanks!

I searched those sites, and didn't have any luck finding the silk to ball... did I do something wrong in my search?

Sorry to be a pain in the butt.

Dave,
I don't think that any maker is building the auto silk ball at this time including Viking. The word is Viking had problems with finding the S***** for the device and has temporarily discontinued them.

Good luck

You might want to get a hank ball and paint it the color of the ball you want to change to. Then just palm the ball, stuff the silk and the you have your change. I hope that helps.

If you contact the three sites that Richard Hughes suggested then they may be able to locate one for you or at least give you other references.

Maybe Stevens magic still carries one. They used to have a really nice one. Also try Owens Magic Supreme. I hope this helps
