I sometimes try to look up magician's and magic-related websites on the net that are not in english. While the online translators are ok for translating "magician", "illusionist", etc. they don't work well with "magic show" "grand illusions", etc. Does anyone know how you say "magic show" in Swedish? What is "sawing a woman in half" in Korean? I can work out some of it in some languages, for instance "zaubershow" and "illusionsshow" are "magic show" and "illusion show" in German, but some I can't figure out, especially those of oriental orgin. Anyone have the translations?

Another thing you can do is alter your google preferences temporarily to search for pages in another (chosen) language. You can still use search terms like magic and magique as these foreign pages generally link to english sites on other parts of the web. This search technique brings up sites which would be lost on the 20th page of results for an Engish language search.

Magic show in Swedish - Magiföreställning or Magishow.
