What are some good openers and closers for magic shows?- kids show, close-up, stage, etc...

These are my usual openers and closers for most of my shows. I find these as the ones which get the best reactions when used as an opener/closer as well.

Kids Shows:

Opener- Vanishing Bandana
Closer- PB&J Surprise

Close-up:

This is a hard one since I have a lot of favorites, but the ones that my audience seems to enjoy the most are:

Opener- Ambitious Card ending /w Card to Wallet or Out of the Blue from John G.
Closer- In a Flash or Hundy 500

I don't really do stage magic, so I wouldn't be able to comment on that.

Kids show: Dove Pan with candy
Close Up: A bigger finish
Stage (this also would do it at kids shows): Disapearing bandana.

I do illusion shows, so...

Opener... Make yourself appear... Should be very strong piece... This sets the tone for the whole show...

Closer... I personally like to vanish myself in a "reverse" manner to the opener... However, this is actually the "encore"... Just before this I do whatever is suitable to give a strong lasting "emotional" impression to the audience... E.g. my presentation of an illusion of my "dreams" coming true, vignette-style...

That's just my approach though...

Opener: Ambitious Cards (4 cards)
Closer: Rip cards in half to show four coins in cards

coin routine!
Opener: Matrix God's way
Closer: disapperance of all four and show they are printed on cards in the deck

Stage and kids shows presentation I don't know

Kiddie Shows. Hmmm.

Opener, Torch to rose or simple vanishing silk routine.
Closing, Similar to Swisskid, Dove pan with popcorn made from tissue paper and other weird ingredients, poured into another bowl that the kids can eat. (Just watch out for the rush of kids wanting to taste magic popcorn)
