I was watching "Hot Shots." A classic comedy. In that show, the Admiral shows that his ear canal is made of metal...and puts in a white handkerchief and slides it in out of his ears. It looks great and is hilarious.

My question is: Is there any effect in which this feat can be accomplished? It would go great in my comedy show, and it would be great to learn. Thanks.

I have one with a piece of string. You'll find them in joke shops called "braincleaners". They're too small to use with a silk but the string is still pretty funny.
