Bob James is selling a portfolio-style close up pad that folds up for easy transport. Does anyone have it? Is it any good?

I'm still looking for a review....

I have one and I like the idea. However, there is very little "give" to the surface pad. This is due to the design they have used to keep the pad from getting crinkly.

A really simple change to the design would give a very good product with a good protection cover on the outside and a good surface with the "give" of an Apollo pad on the inside.

As it is, I don't ever use it. A future project is to rip it apart and redo it.
