Or, just get them direct from Whit - they don't take too long to arrive Smile

If you are getting a small order, say just the shells sent to UK, contact Chef Anton directly, and he can save you some money on the shipment costs. If you buy directly from the web site, small orders are very expensive, but he can make arrangements for these if you email him at chefanton@chefanton.com

My set came from themagicwarehouse.com
shipping to europe is around 5$
but I didn't know about arrangements with Chef Anton...
and I'm sorry for that.

Now I plan to buy La Maggiore shells but Outside US shipping from http://www.threeshellgame.com is too expansive for me.
So if arrangements are possible please let me know.

thank you

Now that I've got both sets (sfs and la maggiore)
I have to admit that they are both very nice.

I want to add that customers service from Andrew Pinard (www.threeshellgame.com)is excellent, and I thank him again for that.

So is the customers service from SFS. (Whit posting here on the Café and actually pm-ing me for help! Awesome.)

I currently use the new solid sterling silver School for Scoundrels Shells for formal close-up and the magnetic Street Shells for walk-around.

I have and use a copper set of shells from the School for scoundrels... They also look very nice for formal close up shows and TV work...

I also use a thinble rig set that I got from them as well...

Their products and service to customers is tops...

The copper ones look really cool, and classy, but I think they look suspicous, specially when a kid has them- I just don't feel very good about them.
So the street shells- for now I am just gonna get the normal ones, no magnetic ones quite yet, maybe when I get more serious about it. Do the street shells feel like cheap plastic? I don't care, but when I hand em to the spectator, do they seem like plastic??

Oh, do they have a bit of weight? For cups and balls, I like nice heavy cups, Shells can't be too heavy, obviously.
Anything?

Thanks,
Rmax

The Street Shells have the look and feel of real walnut shells, and not cheap plastic. Most spectators will assume that they are real unless they handle them. They sound like walnut shells on the table as well.
