I'm not sure if the video was Funny or Corney(SP)????
It's pretty strange to say the least. It's just twisted enough to keep me interested...and that's a good thing...I think.

Who is Boris Pocus? He is a womanizer, a man's man.
I thought this looked pretty funny from the trailer. And I have to admit I thought that trick with the marked card on top of the deck looked pretty clever. I've been very dissappointed by Jay Sankey, but I think it looks like he put some effort into this video instead of just filming it in his living room in his boxers. |

Who is Boris Pocus? He is a rip off of old Andy Kaufman shtick the character of Tony Clifton that Andy Created. It is a shame that Jay could come up with nothing better than this he is a funny and talented guy who is resorting to doing other peoples shtick to get a cheep laugh to sell DVD's for the Snow Bird.

That's funny. Many of you didn't recognize Mr. Sankey in that getup. He's turning into the Man of Mystery these days.lol

Maybe you say this because Jay is wearing a fake wig, moustache and glasses? I hardly think Andy Kaufman invented the use of costume but I may be wrong.

I think that you are missing the point I was trying to get across and that point is that it is Andy's Shtick. Please don't get me wrong here I am not saying that a Magician or Comedian should not create alternate characters for there act. What I am saying that it is so much like the Tony Clifton character that it comes across as a rip off of Andy's shtick. It is almost as if Jay could not come up with anything new so he rented Man on the Moon and said Yeah I could do that with Magic. As I said before I think that Jay is a very talented performer and character in of himself, and it is a shame that he could not come up with anything better.

I loved Kaufman too, but I doubt that he gives a rat's a** at the present moment.

I thought the boris character was hilarious and was an innovative way to convey his mental effects. I really don't understand the "sankey has sunk to new lows" comments.
