*Great* book.
I've found that usually libraries will carry this somewhere in their system, so you might want to rent it before buying. It was a fun read and a lot of cool things were discussed in it. |

Mnnaaaaa. I dunno. If you really want the mathematics behind faro shuffling fine. However, if you are interested in magic applications of the faro go for Alex Elmsley volume 2.
i.e. Don't bother unless you want pages of theorems. Lawrence |

I'd recommend the Marlo material on the Faro over the Elmsley to be honest; Marlo studied the Faro in tremendous detail. Check out his 'Faro Notes', 'The Faro Shuffle' and if you can find it, 'Faro Controlled Miracles'!
What the Elmsley book does give you is a 'correction' system for if you miss the faro by a little... Jamie.

This book contains Paul Gertner's Unshuffled, which is probably one of the best applications of the faro. It also has a very magical trick called The Seekers, which I like a lot.

Yeah yer probably right Jamie. The faro stuff in RCT is extensive. And yes Ashah, Gertner's Unshuffled is very good.
