I've followed a couple of the threads about the cups and balls on this forum, and they all seem to be about the 3 cup routine. Does anyone know of a good published routine, (in their opinion, I know "good" is a subjective issue.)for a two cup, one cup, or chop cup routine? It would be most helpful to me if you could be as complete as possible with your sources, so that I can check those sources out.
Thanks, Ray |

I've been reading the forums and for the chop cup the Don Alan routine seems popular. I haven't watched it but from the demo Table Hopping Cups and Balls looks good, this is for a 2 cup routine. I am not sure about any one cup routine, I would just go for the chop cup instead.

This has been mentioned a few times before on the Café. David Williamson has a good two cup routine, and of course the legendary Tommy Wonder routine is also only two cups.

Lonnie Chevrie has a nice chop cup routine coming out on his outlaw magic dvd set early next month.
Don Alan, Tommy Wonder are amazing. Williamson is great. koz |

Heres how I learned my 2 cup routine, I watched a couple videos on Magic Video Depot, and just kept watching 'til I had each move.

I just found this link while browsing some of the other posts on cups and balls...
http://magicref.tripod.com/magref/magcups.htm it has to be the single best resource on cup and ball/chop cup routines in existence. Ray |

I currently use a modified David Williamson 2 cup routine, thanks David! I have added some stuff to it to make it better...a big load...which kills...the loading technique is on the art of 2 by the way....and it kills...table servants are much more deceptive than pouches...just though I would point that out.

They are great for ditching, it's almost like lapping something...as strong as a topit...you can do this with a pouch but it's not as deceptive I believe. The angles are a little tough on the side, but no problem in the back, just a slight body movement will reduce angles and a little mis-direction. Have you seen part 2? There's some stuff on that dvd about the table servante. Actually my budy Frank S of Magic Café fame are going to be working on the finished design of the servante in leather. Should be very, very nice...
