Has anybody out there made up their own story effect?
By story effect, I mean a Sam-The-Bellhop presentation that uses the entire deck. I have always wanted to make up my own story, maybe somebody would like to share some ideas?

On one of the Ammar videos there is an Eric Mead 'story deck' type effect called
"Evening at the Improv" if you want to check out another pro routine that gets away from "Sam the Bellhop"...

Rich Bloch does a full-deck routine involving Jack and Bruce, starting off with the Ace ('Once upon a time...')
The trouble with the basic Sam the Bellhop routine, the way it is usually done, is that it doesn't end, as much as it just stops. I do a routine in which the last card is the Joker with my picture over the head. When the winning hand is revealed, the question is: "Who had that?" and the reply is, as the card with my picture on it is turned over: "Some joker named Peter Marucci." In context, it's funny; but most importantly, it brings the whole routine to a logical end. cheers, Peter Marucci showtimecol@aol.com |

There is a new one called "After Hours" that may be found in David Regal's Constant Fooling 2. Full deck + 2 jokers.
