Each Maybank I meet up with the Grandson of a person who strapped Houdini into an SJ while he was in the UK no name just a regular once a year happening at a Four Seasons Show in Moredon, I will try and find out more cos each time I choose him to strap me up and try to get him to part with his Grandfathers autographed Bill Sheet, the date on the sheet could be a clue!!!

Just in case you are interested, George Ford who runs http://www.houdiniana.com is taking on a project (with Frank Koval's blessing) in updating the diaries and involving "experts" to write chapters in the book (Me included, on lock picking)
The project has been on a shelf for some time now, so maybe you should visit the site and ask some questions. |

Thanks Mick. That's pretty much what Frank Koval told me.
Let's hope this second edition does appear. If it's anything like the first run it will be well worth having! Regards Riley By the way, nice to see you on the board. Welcome |

Well...from what I read...a "Doctor Steves" gave Houdini a tour of the insane asylum in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Harry peeked into one of the rooms and saw a person struggling with their jacket, so Houdini went back the next day and convinced the Dr. to sell him one and the rest is history.
