Howdy, All!
I'm Steve Glaser, joining in from the geographical area of Don England, Kevin Kelly and Andy Dallas, all of whom are vastly better magicians than Yours Truly. But I try not to let it depress me. I'm a writer by trade (good writer, bad typist), having previously earned my groceries as a radio personality and advertising copywriter/creative director. After a brief fling with magic as a child, I rediscovered the art 3 years ago at the age of 45 and was... umm... "hooked" seems too mild a word. Harpooned, maybe. I reentered through close-up and have been falling more and more in love with bizarre and mentalism. I'll never be a manipulator, so have to learn how to be sneakier instead. I do little performing (thus far) but tend to work magic or mentalism into various presentations I give or educational sessions I facilitate. It's good to see some familiar faces here, as well as some new names with interesting things to say. |

Well Let me be the first to Welcome you here. The Cafe's a great Place. I to do close up but seem oddly pulled more and more towards Bizzare/Mentalism. Glad Your Here.
