Speaking of wonder bar, I loved that effect.
Here's a a fun way to do it. First, Get a mini light stick and replace your wonder bar with the light stick. Second, get one of those nuclear hazard symbols and stick it on the test tube. Now you have this little glowing thing in a test tube bouncing up and down with a nuclear hazard sticker on it. It really looks eery. When I lived in Sacramento I used to tell people it was a momento from Rancho Seco but as long as it stayed sealed inside the test tube we were all safe. That would be the moment when it would push the cork our of the test tube and really come to life. Dave |

Dave, I like that presentation!
Here's something that I came up with about 30 years ago that I used to do seated at restaurants with friends. I used a horizontal arrangement with one end in the "Wonderbar" type position and made a baby shrimp jump up and down on my hand. One time I did this and then called the waitress over and explained that my food wasn't cooked enough. Her eyes almost popped out of her head, and she immediately left and then returned with the manager so that I could show him. I just played dumb and said that I didn't know what she was talking about, and the rest of the table played along. Hey, someone has to keep psychiatrists in business. Re. the floating finger ring, I currently perform the effect using a Mesika loop and it kills. Larry D. |

So what would you say is the best published resource for this effect?
" Res Non Verba "
" Deeds Not Words " |

"Best" is subjective. The published version I like can be found in Yigal Mesika's book entitled Animated Miracles.

Can anyone here help me out. I would like to learn Terry Lunceford's Floating Finger Ring but cannot find it anywhere.
I heard it was for sale individually, which I would prefer over the video, but either would be ok. Can anybody help?

I saw Dean Dill do the floating finger ring with the straw at a convention and have been wanting to learn it ever sence. It was great.I e-mailed him and asked if he had it out on video and he said no but if I came by his shop he would help me out with it.I hope he puts it on vidoe one day. I live too far away from his shop.
That Dean is one heck of a nice guy. Shawn D |

Dean taught me his version with and without straw a couple of years ago. It is absolute killer.
I never performed it though since he has not released it officially. In the version without the straw the ring floats above a spectators hand. You let him say go and the ring drops from midair into his cupped hands. And yes, instant reset. Why am I mentioning this...

VINNY,. VINNY... WONDERBAR came way after Bruno Hennig (Kaps cork) and to many was considered a slight knock off...

Terry Lunceford had a handling for the Floating Finger Ring that was published in the late 70's or early 80's.
He also had a great handling for the floating bill. It appeared that his hands rotated completely around the bill. Regards, Paul Green |

Hello everyone,
I enjoyed reading these posts. One question about loops. I read elsewhere and don't quote me on this but I heard that a certain site sells weak loops, in other words there not as strong as the ones Yigal Mesika sells. If so where do I get his version. I just started getting into loops so I'm very curious. Any help would be great.
