I've been looking through the postings to find recommendations on books or DVDs that give a good explanation on stripping threads for IT.

You can check out Michael Ammar's ETM Thread Miracles. It's a 3 volume DVD/Video. It's really really good. Thread separation can be found in volume 1. Hope this helps!

The Salvano IT video gives you plenty of information. This part of the forum is too open to post any of the inside information on IT work, anyway.

Steve Fearsons floating cig routine tell you how to do that as well.

Also try John LeClair's DVD, Who's Afraid of IT. It uses th eLeClair hookup which is by far the best for me.

As mentioned above, get Ammar's Tread Miracles DVD's Vol. 1-3, and John LeClair's book on the subject and you'll learn everything you need to know about IT.
