Can someone give me some suggestion on how to hide the mw which is needed when doing the hummer card effect?

It is so conspicuous to my audience when I perform for them

If it's clear, and youre keeping the card in motion, I'd say youre using WAY to much mw.

Have the MW attatched to the nail of your right thumb and in presenting the card to the audience hold it between the thumb and first finger with the face towards the audience.

It is then a simple matter of dislodging and attatching the MW while passing the card from the right hand to the left, using the left themb to pull off the MW from the right thumb.

Get the putty from the Kennedy Z-webs, it's white so it blends better at the face of the card.

Oh, thanks a lot...

but though it is white, it will get dirty very easily... after a few times, the thing seems to become black...

Well, that is true, but it's enough putty providet to atleast 50 performances, use the Kennedy putty for the card ancor and the LeClair putty for your ear..

At the magic shop where I work, we use standard magician's wax and never have a problem with that.
Our name for the wax is "the booger" we use a good size ammount too. We perfor blue backed playing cards, the clear wax is almost invisible while spinning. Plus, we like to wax the other end and tape it behind our ear.

I make my own Hummer Card and when I perform it I never get cot.
This trick is effective and easy to setup.

Id like to know whether its worth it just to buy it, or try and figure out how to set it up
"What's your father's occupation?"

"He's a magician"

"What's his favorite trick?"

"Sawing people in half."

"Gosh! Any brothers or sisters?"

"One half brother, and two half sisters"

I forgot the name of the magician who stars in the video, but there's a video called "Who's Afraid of Invisible Thread(I think)
He fully explains how to make and prepare your own hummers.

"Who's Afraid of Invisible Thread" of Jon LeClair is the name of the magician.
There's also a good routine and explanation of the hummer card effect in the video series of Michael Ammar "Easy To Master Thread Miracles Vol.1". Michael Ammar is the top in videos teaching. Believe me Ammar is a shure investment as you will find more than what you've been looking for...

It's a good buy if you'll use it.

I can say you need a piece of mw half the size of a pea, maybe even smaller, you don't need much to perform it

I use a blob of mw about the size of a .177 bb or just a bit smaller.

That is a .177 cal ball bearing for a BB gun!

Kevin`s advice should be followed. This is how it is done.

Trial and error.. Just try and keep it clean too.. They will spot it if it becomes just alittle dirty..

Less MW and maybe put a bend in the card, or a fold to break the wax coating on the card. MW sticks much bettter to the plain cardboard inside the card than it does with the outside waxy coating.
