I'd guess Pete Biro would know.

I do not know what the effect is other than it is some paddle trick. Maybe Pete Biro can give us a small idea as too what this effect is about and when it will be for sale.

I just came in the door. Porper had them at the Castle Swap meet. It is a toothpick twiser, red, white, blue lined holes.

Very clever principle totally hand out to examine at finsh. R. Paul Wilson was demming at Castle.

Should be available right now.

I have an old paddle trick by Joe Porper that I got from Jeff Busby. Wood paddle has three holes. Toothpick placed in one hole moves to another hole. At the end, the holes close. Well made - nice effect.

From the info. at Hocus Pocus, Toothpick Twister seems to have some major improvements compared to an older version I purchased from Jeff Busby many years ago.

Is it just me or is $60 a tad steep for a paddle trick.

I agree there are so many great paddle tricks on the market 60 dollars is a take on.

$60 steep for a paddle trick? Maybe....but the fact that you can hand it out for complete examination afterwards without a switch? I'd say that's some very well made magic! It's not a hot rod.....it's a precision made piece of magical apparatus! I've yet to see one, so I can't make an impartial comment, but I'm willing to bet it's much better than your AVERAGE paddle trick!

If this is similar to the "magical hotrod" which is mechanical, it is probably very good. The "magical hotrod" can change colors 3 times and then you can hand it out for examination at the end.

If you know how much work goes into making one of these (I do as I have been to the shop) you would wonder why he sells it so cheap.

If the effect is up your street buy it. If not... don't waste you money for something you won't use.
