If you are naturally funny, it doesn't matter what trick you use. Example: Terry Seabrooke gets tons of laughs out of Slydini's torn and restored newspaper.

Well, the effect has served me well, and gotten much laughter from my audiences, and is easy to do, quite visual, so I meant the comment sincerely. sorry if it offended, but I only wanted to help, and I wouldn't recommend any effect that I haven't personally used and gotten good results from.

So then, shooting me is truly unneccesary.
