Yeah, they had some cr*p about using a double and a hidden section under the stage that they stay in while the other guy is in view.

I don't think there was anything to expose. Blaine just stood upright in a block of ice without touching the ice itself. It seemed more like a feat of endurance than of magic. Did I miss something?

The show that "exposed" frozen in time said "Blaine switched in and out with a double thru a traped door under the ice....what they neglected to say is that the ice was elivated off the ground! You could see under the ice at all times!

Don't forget the fact that a doubling is much easier to pull off while wearing a mask. Blaine didn't even have a shirt...he's just crazy enough to stand in ice.

The show mentioned that you stay in the ice for one week, 7 days. Blaine was in there for three days, which is much more feasible. I do not believe Blaine used magic in Frozen in Time. If he had, I would have expected him to escape from the ice at the very end (something which I was hoping to see him do). It’s just another stunt, like standing on a pillar, or sitting in a box, or lying in a coffin buried under water.

He did not use magic during this stunt. I am sure about that. It was a stunt.

You call it misdirection, I call it a catheter: the ultimate p*ss-direction.

Guys, David talked to my friend about it, and he did use a double. You guys are so gulable and fall right into his hands. He said that a lot of the time there isn't people watching, and it is easy to switch. He ate, drank, and p*ssed.

Wow DB actually said that? How bold of him!
Don't think too much.
Just hit it. |

Although not warm, it is quite possible that it "wasn't that cold" inside of the block of ice. It's the same basic principle behind igloos.
Dengez, it seems many people have had friends...or friends of friends...or friends of friends of freinds (et cetera) who have spoken to Blaine about his stunts. And in every story he openly admits to his stunts being fake. My sister had a friend who claimed to have spoken to Blaine about his Vertigo special, and apparently he claimed that it was all fake as well. I wonder why believe the "trickster" NOW, if he's lied to you before, he's likely to do it again. Nick Fox |

Haha Damien.
One day I heard some people talking about how great DB was, and then someone blurted out what they saw on that exposure show. Needless to say it kind of disappointed everyone. Jeez, it wasn't even true. |

Ha..ha..u all discuss on the topic that what DB has done. Come on man give the man accolade on what he has achieve cos he is still "the main man" in magic.Either he use double or not it is not important. U know y because he got zillion of dollars and we still get $100/hr show..Concentrate on how to improve our performance and target to be like him one day.
