Wicked beat me to it with the three best tips. You could also check your angles and how you are throwing the cards. In worst case scenario, glue some packets together and practice with them first.

Deam...? It's good to be able to do flourishes without the use of powder. It's like a training wheel, and is only totally needed when doing procuctions and manipulations, since you have to "treat" the cards to thin them down. Try to not use powder as much as possible, so you won't become dependent on it, and you'll save a lot of money in the long run as well.

Deamn = Norwegian spelling mistake. yeah Try not to use as mush FP.
for example. I can do pretty much every Armspread in the Bible without FP. FP may be good for practise on a new and hard aerial move thoug.. (or armspread) but yeah. I agree with Jordini

OK thanks guys. I worked on my moves and I think I found the problem.I was using the wrong angle or something. But anyways, I don't use FP at all because I have none. I never really saw the use for it

I have to disagree with you jordini : In his book, Jerry clearly says that most advanced card flourishes are impossible to do without fanning powder.
So, if you don't use fanning powder, you will restrict yourself to the most "risk free" flourishes (or you'll have to use a sticky deck, but it's not a good alternative in my opinion) > you'll save a lot of money in the long run as well. Fanning powder is very cheap if you know that it's only zink stearate. |

Zink stearate is expensive. zink stearate sold as FP is cheap.. go figure.. lol
De'vo also said that he would have to lay off on the too advanced Armspreads (or sumthing) because he didn't use FP.
