Hello there,

just joined today and having quite a good time so far.

One question:

I have seen performed and have heard much about the bill in the lemon effect.

Can anyone tell me where I can find a manuscript or book on how to perform it? Smile

Asking how the classic Bill in Lemon trick is performed is like asking how to force a card. Sooooo many variations. Smile

Since you're obviously new to magic, I would suggest obtaining a copy of The Mark Wilson Course In magic, where I believe there is a version. Also get the volumes of the Tarbell's.

There are of course many other sources in print, not to mention an awsome version by Doc Eason available on video from L&L Publishing.

All these items can be found at any decent magic shop, as well as numerous places on the web. I hope this helps! Smile

I'm gonna take Steves side and tell you to pick up the Mark Wilson book, excellent bill to lemon routine explained in there, along with TONS of other little gems for ya to learn.

Say, wouldn’t it be great if one could "vice-versa" the trick, so to speak?

Have a spectator sign a lemon and make the lemon disappear.

Then pull out a dollar bill and ask the spectator to tear it open and look inside.

It’s their signed lemon!

That would be jaw dropping.

There's a good bill to lemon effect in "Scarne's Book of Magic" as well as in Scott Guinn's "Great Scott It's More Magic."

I'm sure Scott would not blow his own horn about his books but I will mention it.

Check with Carl Cloutier. He has a nice variation of this classic in which he uses as kiwi. But you can do the same thing with a lemmon.

Umm... this topic is 3 years old!! The guy has over 1000 posts now. I'd think its pretty sad if he hasnt found a bill to lemon effect yet.
