P.S. - George Sands' Sandsational Rope routine and Shigeo Takagi's rope routine are fantastic.
Agreed, but RopeSational and Sandsational Rope are 2 diff. routines..
RopeSational does use the same rope over and over again, that's what I out of selfish and practical reasons love so much Smile ..

Hmmm, maybe I'm confused. Doesn't Sandsational use the same rope over and over again? If not, I must be thinking of RopeSational.

Nope.. Smile
Sandsational rope is the routine where the spec CUTS the 2 lenght of rope equal time after time.. Smile
Actually Dick Cavett did that routine in one of his shows where Dai Vernon, Doug Henning and Derek Dingle appeared.

BTW. I just checked George Sands combined booklet re both routines, so you can trust me on this Smile re the difference between Sandsational Rope and RopeSational.

RopeSational was developped later, and George Sands said himself, he was tired of cutting and providing all this rope and so developped a routine that didn't waste rope..

Where can this routine be acquired...

"Shigeo Takagi's rope routine "

Also... I bought the fiber optics DVD and it is fantastic. Eye candy with a rope. The moves are
killer. There's a video clip linked from my website.

Thanks Werner. I used to perform the non-cut version years ago so it must have been Ropesational.

I too have seen the MD Not Required. I have never seen him reveal his method anywhere on any of his other stuff. I do have some guesses.

For one thing, it's real simple. But there's a twist because there's another extra piece where the other ends up. This allows him to retrieve it. (Perhaps you'll decipher my hints.)

I could be wrong, but I'm curious if I could be correct.

If it works as I supose, I think you have been surprised by one of the oldest gimmicks in magic. Often we look for the last new fashion trick, when the classic think can add a real new touch (hum....)

If it don't works as I supose forget my comment

As I don't know exactly how it works I prefer let the illusion in your mind...

Best,
Darío
