I respect your opinion. However, how many times have you seen an adult light a cigarette in front of a child? They see the match or lighter igniting also. A fire book, fire wallet, flash paper all in prospective of course. And a few seconds of flame is all. How about a barbeque? Even cartoons? Children are watching a magic show. How much of the magic do they believe is real? How do they know its real fire? Look at escapes also. Bridgejumping and even mailbag escapes. A child could suffocate trying that. I think we have to give today's child more credit. I agree fire can end up in a disaster but I feel in the right setting, it can be very magicial.

Some people want to do it and some don't I have already babysat for a couple of kids. that liked to play with fire it was nothing big just a little fire I know I shouldnt of. but I let them any way this wasnt while I was babysitting though. kids are curious and might try anything kids are unpredictable and more honest then most adults I have met if your going to do fire be careful.
