I've tried to stay on topic and suggested several uses for testimonials in this and other topics but no one, including those on both sides of this silly arguments, seems to be interested.

Nick, that’s exactly why I have not posted on this topic. There are countless tactics you can employ to maximize the benefits of testimonials. I’ve booked a ton of shows on the strength of my testimonials alone. I also have seen a lot of magicians using testimonials in a way that actually detracts from the sales process. This forum however has not turned out to be a good place to share my experiances.
I’m going to tune out now. I’ll see you guys again in January. Have a Merry Christmas everyone!
